Squee:gee started with Window Cleaning. That is what people know us for, and it is still a huge part of who we are. But over time, the homes we worked on started telling us something. Clean windows only go so far when the cladding behind them is still carrying salt, mould, dust and years of Auckland weather.

That is why we expanded into House Washing through The SoftWash Company. Same ownership, same team and the same care around the property, just under a different name. Eventually, running the two brands separately stopped making sense.

The SoftWash Company is now becoming part of Squee:gee, bringing Window Cleaning and House Washing together under one name, with Pressure Washing available for the harder surfaces around your home. For our customers, it means one team can now take care of more of the exterior in one visit.

And because we have always believed the details matter, every Squee:gee House Wash includes a full exterior Window Clean as standard. Not a quick rinse over the glass, but a proper clean so the house and windows are finished together.

The way we work has not changed either. Different surfaces need different methods. Pure water for the windows. Soft Washing for suitable house exteriors. Pressure where harder surfaces can handle it. The Squee:gee standard is to use the right method for the surface, not simply the strongest or quickest one available.

We also have a phrase we use internally: “paint the back of the fence.” It means the unseen work matters too. The sill behind the pot plant, the high corner beside the downpipe, the details nobody is likely to inspect but that still deserve the same care.

That standard started with the windows. Now it applies to more of the home.
